Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda 2014

Dolce and Gabbana's 2014 Alta Moda collection shone brightly in the penthouse of Milan.  Stefano and Domenico's fourth couture show explored the world of flowers and arrangements that can be worn on a woman's body.  Dolce says negotiations were made with international museums  to secure the rights in reproducing artwork including Van Gogh's sunflower, Manet's white lilacs and Redons' anemones.

Atelier Dolce and Gabbana dresses created their own art pieces using textiles and embroidered beads and other delicate materials.  The venue itself was transformed into a rose garden fully equipped with soft pink roses and framed vines.

The most impressive dress of them all, the finale, was hand-made with shades of crimson and magenta silk flowers on black.  A beautiful head dress of velvet wire roses resembling those of impressionist paintings.  The ballgown was something grand and out of this world.

McQueen SS Campaign

For the first time Kate Moss is the face of McQueen's S/S 2014 Campaign.  In this dark and ominous feature, someone is obssesed with Kate Moss and has her initials tattooed on their knuckles.  The haunted and twisted game, but dramatic in the clothing.

Nike Rise

First it was Stella McCartney x Addias, now Riccardo Tisci x Nike?! The rise of sportswear brands have really become something.  A few weeks ago Tisci announced his collaboration with Nike, and recently we have been able to get some sneak peeks on his Instagram account.

Givenchy creative director, Riccardo Tisci has agreed to design a four piece collection of basketball shoes taking the classic shape of the imfamous Air Force 1.  With haute houses such as Dior and Chanel making trainers the "it" shoe this season, Tisci's collab with Nike has never been more in demand.

Riccardo explains his love for Nike Air Force 1: "The shoe is universal yet somehow very personal.  I travel all over the world, and I see people wearing the Air Force 1, and they wear it in so many different ways. And so I was thinking, what is the essence of the Air Force 1? And how do I take that essence and make my own statement?  For me the Air Force 1 is not about gender, it’s not about a particular city, nor is it about a certain style. The community decides. It’s democratic. It’s love."

You can expect the clusterfuck in Nike stores early February.
