Walkin in my dreams

Tim Walker, the beloved Brit fashion photographer, shot his first Vogue spread when he was 25.  Twenty years later, it's reveled that he's never been interested in clothes, but more interested in portraying his dreams and making them a reality.  Tim Walker has been part of the elite fashion photography team, shooting everyone from Tilda Swinton, Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss to Alexander Mcqueen.   Walker's work is theatrical and borders on surrealist ideas.  He aims to create in his pictures "the parameters of the impossible."

Today we celebrate Tim Walker's work.  This past Saturday was the opening of Tim Walker: Dreamscapes, where his work is on display.  It is open for view until September 1, 2013 at the Bowes Museum in County Durham, England.

In honor of Tim Walker, this Memorial Day weekend I had a photoshoot of my own, displaying one of my favorite fashion books of all time, Story Teller.  It features the over-the-top photographs that Tim Walker is notorious for.  What's more enjoyable to look at than pretty photoshoots in the sun?
